Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) is the global campaigning and lobbying organisation to restore democracy, human rights and rule of law in Burma where everyone can enjoy the freedom of speech, press, beliefs, assembly and rule of law that emphasizes the protection of individual rights. Burma Democratic Concern (BDCs) have the firm determination, dedication and devotion to keep on working until the democracy restored in Burma. Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) believes the power of butterfly effect and we would be very happy if our works could be a useful tool triggering the domino effect resulting in emergence of the peaceful, progress and prosperous Burma.

BBC-TV News: On the very day and the very time when the Daw Aung San Suu Kyi was released from house arrest, Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) director Myo Thein was interviewed live on BBC TV News simultaneously commenting on her release, what she meant of her very first ever message and the future of Burma.
Radio Free Asia (Burmese): Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) director Myo Thein participated in the discussion on RFA (Burmese) together with U Tin Maung Htoo (CFOB), U Myint Hlaing (Burma Today) and U Min Zin (Burma Analyst), regarding the so-called new government, current situation of Burma and future prospect.
It is very imperative to educate new generation activists not only for the democratisation of Burma but also for the world peace and stability and Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein is one of the leaders working at the forefront educating people. Ko Myo Yan Naung Thein is the 88-Generation student, principle of the BAYDA Institute which enjoys support from Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s led NLD and he is the instrumental in establishing the National Youth Network which was founded under the guidance and leadership of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s desire to build the democracy networking society so as to communicate with people around the world.

Burmese Campaign Video TV-Series “Hay Man Oo Mar SHOCK Shi Tae”
Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) is humbled to present the new Burmese campaign video TV-Series "Hay Man Oo Mar SHOCK Shi Tae" to educate, empower and encourage the new generation activists working for the democratisation of Burma. In the video there will be information regarding expanding political space, institution building, strengthening civil society organisations (CSOs), establishing networks, revolution of the spirit, people power, mass movement; freedom from fear, as well as the information regarding reforming and modification of the Burma's military with new generation activists who value professionalism and respect people.
February 13 is the Burma's Independence Hero, and father of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi's father, Bogyoke Aung San's birthday. In honour of Bogyoke Aung San's birthday, it is the Burma Democratic Concern (BDC)'s honour to produce Bogyoke Aung San's Birthday video.

NLD-affiliated school forced to move (Mizzima) – The Bayda Institute in Tamwe Township in Rangoon Division, an education group associated with the social networking program supported by Aung San San Kyi, is moving to Sanchaung Township, according to principal Myo Yan Naung Thein.
